Friends of Big Marsh’s signature celebration of what we love about Big Marsh in the late Summer is getting a relaunch!
We are inviting all community members, nature lovers, cyclists, and HOUSE HEADS to Big Marsh for Birds, Bikes, and Beats this year. DJs Scrabblor, Anthony Cruz, Yaya The Bawse, and Duane Powell (Sound Rotation, Sunday Service) will provide a soundtrack as bike tours and skills workshops keep people moving. Natty Bwoy will lead a free skateboarding workshop. Jus Sandwiches will have delicious food available.
Chicago’s SAFE Ambassadors will lead a workshop on bike safety and riding essentials. Natty Bwoy Bikes & Boards will lead a skateboarding workshop.
This event will be free to the public, but we suggest a donation to the Big Future, Big Hill capital capaign of $10 so future Summers on the South Side can be even more epic.
