Students aged 8-12 years old can spend their summer at Big Marsh Park learning about the local ecosystem and exploring the bike park. Students will participate in engaging science-based curriculum, nature play, bike riding, and field trips to partner organizations.
Adventure Camp runs during the Chicago Public School’s summer break. There are two different sessions, each three weeks long. Caregivers can sign their campers up for just one of the sessions.
Session Dates:
-Session 1: June 24 to July 12
-No Camp July 4-5
-Session 2: July 15 to August 2
Campers will partake in:
-Discovering the marsh habitat
-Learn about local wildlife
-Bike around the whole park
-Rock Climb
-Go on field trips
-Build forts
-Make art
-Have FUN!
Registration:
-Register online starting April 15 at 9:00 AM.
-Register in person starting April 20 at 9:00 AM.
-Can only sign student(s) up for one session, not both
