Join the Chicago Park District in the Ford Calumet Environmental Center for this FREE program where you’ll have the opportunity to interact and meet some incredible animals! This experience will bring animals native to Illinois’ marshes, forests and grasslands close to you! Get the chance to watch feeding demonstrations of toads and salamanders, hold and touch snakes, and take a picture with a turtle! This educational program will educate you on the life history of these animals and how they use their special adaptations to survive their environments.

Únase al Distrito de Parques de Chicago en el Ford Calumet Environmental Center para este evento GRATUITO en el que tendrá la oportunidad de interactuar y conocer a algunos animales increíbles. Esta experiencia le acercará a los animales nativos de los pantanos, bosques y praderas de Illinois. Tendrás la oportunidad de ver demostraciones de alimentación de sapos y salamandras, de sostener y tocar serpientes y de fotografiarte con una tortuga. Este programa educativo le enseñará la historia de la vida de estos animales y cómo utilizan sus adaptaciones especiales para sobrevivir en su entorno.
