Big Marsh Park is filled with both formal and informal trail systems.
Adjacent to the parking lot, there is a short pier which leads out to the marsh overlook. If facing the marsh, one can find “Beaver Tree Trail” to the left and a trail to the right which leads to “Deer Bone Pointe”. These trails are an excellent place to begin to understand the delicate eco-system within the park.
If one follows Deer Bone Point Trail to its western edge they can continue bearing North East and follow to the Paxton Path and Acme trail to three finger pond. All routes are ideal for light hiking, bird watching, or trailrunning.
